Job Description

SAE Institute is looking for a passionate and qualified Visual Effects and Motion Graphics lecturer to join their creative academic The purpose of this role is to teach Visual Effects Motion Graphics and inspire young minds at our Rosebank campus in

Responsibilities:


Execute the normal day-to-day demands of facilitation in accordance with the learning outcomes as set for the SAE programme, with a focus on practical application, theoretical frameworks, workflow and

Mentor students, conduct consultations and facilitate learning

Research relevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson

Evaluation, moderation, invigilation and assessment of

Keep accurate records of

Adhere to SAE policies and

Other related tasks as assigned by the


Experience, Education and Competency:


Minimum NQF Level 8 qualification (BA Honours) in relevant field

Experience in the field of Visual Effects and Motion Graphics of a minimum of 2 years

Experience in classroom management and workshop facilitation skills in an academic or training environment of a minimum of 2 years

Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Visual Effects, Motion Graphics and possibly Graphic Design and the relevant software (preferably Adobe suite - Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects and optional experience in Final Cut Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve)

Must have a body of work that demonstrates competency in Visual Effects, Motion Graphics and possibly Graphic

Possess communication, interpersonal skills, administration skills, be organised and possess good time management ;

Collaborative and willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support
