Purpose of the role :

Embedded within Product and Innovation, the Business Manager provides dedicated support to our Chief Product and Innovation Officer (CPIO), enabling effective business decision making in and out of live projects, by managing the information gathering process, communicating with all relevant stakeholders, developing and monitoring objectives and keeping track of all

By acting as the point of contact for the CPIO, you will be on hand to provide crucial administrative and organisational assistance when You ll be building strong relationships with both external stakeholders, and across the global business, to plan and manage, drive and implement a wide range of business critical projects, working with highly sensitive

This is an exciting and unique role within Collinson, exposing the job holder to senior leadership discussions and decision-making

Key Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Project involvement

  • Support the CPIO and his Leadership Team in driving cross-functional projects and prioritisation
  • With the team spread across multiple geographies, this will mean dealing with different timezones and cultures etc
  • Lead or contribute to projects spanning a wide variety of areas including business and operational strategy, recruitment, employee branding, governance and comms
  • Responsible for the completion of multiple concurrent projects and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing
  • Be an integral and trusted member of the team ensuring the project output is a useful and actionable to all
  • Create supporting materials and presentations to drive alignment and consistency across the business while and managing content and agendas for key
  • Produce and analyse reports where required
  • Prepare and co-ordinate communication across teams and different business areas

Day-to-day management

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the
  • Manage diaries and communication within the teams and across key internal and external
  • Be a point person for coordination of meetings and all relevant supporting
  • Ensure the Team has all materials required to inform in-meeting decision making as well as taking responsibility for the action points to
  • Monitor inbox, draft email correspondence, and respond on behalf of the CPIO when

Ad hoc

  • Arrange and organise travel for the senior management
  • Organise and draw up expense claim
  • Help with various administrative and office duties as
  • Organise events and team

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience as a Business Manager or relevant role
  • Expert at authoring presentations, manipulating spreadsheets, research and report writing
  • Influencing, consensus building, and sustaining relationships with the ability to work collaboratively with both external and internal stakeholders, the latter may be spread across several different countries
  • A track record of delivering high quality at pace, with strong attention to detail and
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on new issues and to make sound judgements on
  • Capable of managing multiple competing priorities in an efficient and structured
  • Strong analytical skills, solution focused with a problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of seniority (written and verbal).
