Job Description
Adult Psychiatrist - Outpatient - Open Pay Rate!
Troy, NY
We are looking for a locum to perm Psychiatrist to start as soon as credentialed at their Outpatient Adult
Provider must be interested in transitioning to
Position Details
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20
- Patientload consists of new patients and follow ups
- Typically new patients are about 60 minute visits and follow ups are about 20 minutes
- Outpatient clinic has roughly 3,000 active patients with about 200 patients scheduled per day
- Staff Size: 6 psychiatrists and 15 social workers
- Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months
- EMR: Epic
Compensation and Benefits
- Open Pay Present your desired rate!
- Full travel reimbursement
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8 hr days with flexible start times (most start at 8:30)
- Call schedule: 1:6 weekends
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency - Required
- DEA - Required
- Active NY State License - Required
- Must be Covid Vaccinated - Required
- Must have familiarity with Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Restraint Application, Seclusion therapy, and Involuntary Commitments
