Localization Project Managers - mid to senior levels/future Production Manager - office based - Montreal, Canada
We are looking for two Localization Project Managers for our client, a well-positioned Language Service Provider in strong growth, to join their production centre in The positions will be mainly office based - Mon-Wednesday in the office, the rest from The ideal candidates has between 2-8 years of experience in managing software, multimedia and documentation localization projects for ideally, large international ;
We are open to different levels of experience, and for the right person there is future scope for taking on the role of Production

Responsibilities include:
- understanding customer needs and accommodating client requirements to obtain total customer satisfaction
- managing daily communication with customers and providing accurate reporting on a regular basis
- analyzing, budgeting, project planning and following up (software, multimedia, and documentation projects)
- managing translators, engineers and DTP resources (internal/external)
- managing linguistic assets
- identifying and deciding on tool/resource requirements
- troubleshooting and problem solving
Qualification and Skills:
- experience in managing software, multimedia and documentation localization projects for large international accounts
- fluency in English and French with the ability to interact with people from all over the world
- knowledge of project management procedures and methodology
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to multi-task
- high standards of quality and the ability to meet deadlines
- passion for languages and technology
- a degree or diploma in languages and/or software engineering/computer science would be an advantage
