Experience & Knowledge
Essential
Knowledge and understanding of current food safety, health and safety, procedures, and
Excellent working knowledge of investigatory
Experience of undertaking Food Hygiene and H&S
Experience of working in a people focused role with a variety of stakeholders
Demonstratable experience if using innovative techniques to achieve quality outcomes
Experience of providing income generating activities and strong commercial
A number of years of professional practice
Able to meet the baseline competencies as specified in the Food Law Code of
Desirable
Experience of a management/supervisory role in a Food & Safety & licencing environment
Experience of working within a local government environment and presenting detailed reports to elected member committees
Qualifications
Essential
Degree in Environmental health or equivalent
Relevant professional qualifications in specialist areas as appropriate
Chartered institute of Environmental Health Diploma or equivalent
EHRB certificate of registration
Desirable
Additional Training in Food Safety
Additional Training in H&S
NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent
NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent
Supervisory or management experience
