We are seeking a Senior Truck Fleet Services Manager / Coordinatorto coordinate all truck movement within our compound and to outside This person will facilitate and execute mobile unit movement throughout the compound and ensure smooth maintenance This Manager will be responsible for the Truck Fleet maintenance, coordination, compliance, and safety for all mobile units and personnel who operate In this role, you will be involved in some of the biggest broadcasting/sporting events in the ;This position is critical to our Over The Road (OTR) Mobile Unit Fleet and must come with experience not only in driving trucks but also managing Fleet Salary is $70k - $85k per year
The position is onsite at our Van Nuys This person will be available on-call 24 hours in case of fleet-related
Key duties include:
- Ensure that NEP meets / exceeds all compliance standards for safety of its OTR mobile units and personnel who operate them
- Facilitate mobile unit movement throughout the compound and ensure smooth maintenance operations
- Perform three yard checks per week and enter appropriate date into SharePoint
- Communicate with Engineering and Operations for proper placement of mobile units
- Updated contact with Fleet department and Mobile Unit drivers for any necessary changes with fleet equipment
- Work with other maintenance coordinators for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance based on needs and priority
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related skills in fleet operations, safety, and administration with Trucks
- Current knowledge of State and Federal transportation laws and regulations
- Class A CDL
- Management and operation background in fleet (trucks)
- High School diploma Associates or technical degree preferred but a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Need to possess a current FMCSA physical exam card
