Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms within the allotted time by vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and or mopping
  • Secure guest rooms when finished with cleaning services
  • Replace linens, towels, and other guest supplies in each room
  • Perform laundry duties as requested
  • Perform housekeeping duties during short-staffed or peak periods
  • Notify supervisors concerning the need for repairs in public areas or guest rooms
  • Record and report lost and found items according to company policy
  • Maintain and stock housekeeping cart daily
  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome and ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Ensure staff members are following the WNW standards at all
  • Perform other duties as designated by hotel


Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel preferred
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
  • Ability to move, push and carry up to 50
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Effective communication skills with employees and
  • Ability to work autonomously and understand when management needs to be involved in decision-making
  • Oral Comprehension The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication
  • Effective decision-making The ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges
  • Self-motivated, with a dedication to keeping up to date professionally, and applying new knowledge to the job
