Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms within the allotted time by vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and or mopping
- Secure guest rooms when finished with cleaning services
- Replace linens, towels, and other guest supplies in each room
- Perform laundry duties as requested
- Perform housekeeping duties during short-staffed or peak periods
- Notify supervisors concerning the need for repairs in public areas or guest rooms
- Record and report lost and found items according to company policy
- Maintain and stock housekeeping cart daily
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Ensure staff members are following the WNW standards at all
- Perform other duties as designated by hotel
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel preferred
- Ability to work some nights and weekends
- Ability to move, push and carry up to 50
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Effective communication skills with employees and
- Ability to work autonomously and understand when management needs to be involved in decision-making
- Oral Comprehension The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication
