Primary Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates knowledge of second language learning patterns and best practices in English language
  
• Plans and delivers lessons in English language
  
• Collaborates with classroom teachers and specialists to ensure achievement of ELLs across content
  
• Administers formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and ensure student
  
• Possesses the skills necessary for serving as a liaison between the school and the
  
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with classroom teachers, administration, and
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
  
• Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
  
• BSc in Special Education; MSc is a plus
  
• Have or be eligible to apply for an Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement
  
• Special Education endorsement or early childhood Special Education License
  
• Must be able to work up to hours per week.
