Position: Mechanical Assembler

Responsibility and authority for quality of own

Perform work in accordance with Travelers / Operation sheets

Perform any of the following:

Plastic Bead Blasting

Conventional milling operations

Aluminum Oxide Blasting

Pressure Test

Parts Cleaning

Oil Flow Test

Threaded insert replacement

Painting

Hand drilling using jigs

Epoxy Application

Deburring of parts

Assure that the production traveler is properly signed for

Use care in the handling of

Perform Preventive Maintenance on machines /

Responsible for care and use of calibrated measuring instruments and their timely return for required

Observe all Safety requirements in shop area and maintain good-housekeeping practices at all times

Perform all other duties as

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be Prior experience with complex aerospace parts is

Physical Requirements

Regularly lift 30-50 pounds

Regularly perform repetitive tasks

Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
