• Ensuring that maintenance work complies with statutory engineering standards and requirements using own knowledge and the support of other
  
• Performing fault diagnosis maintaining and servicing work safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer s
  
• Reading and extracting information from engineering drawings, specification diagrams and maintenance
  
• Preparing the work area for maintenance of plant, systems or
  
• Reinstating the work area after completing the maintenance of plant, systems and
  
• Conducting safe and effective handover of plant and equipment to others and accepting and confirming responsibility for the control of plant and equipment within the work area isolation
  
• Using site maintenance systems to ensure all maintenance documentation is completed and archived in accordance with site procedures
  
• Working within the on-demand system to respond flexibly to changing As part of the maintenance team, it is expected that support will be provided out of core hours, this includes the requirement to respond to emergency call outs where necessary and weekend works
  
• Using the engineering planning system, reporting progress and giving accurate updates to engineering colleagues daily
  
• Ensuring that contractors are welcomed/supervised during service visits where necessary prior to accessing
  

• Level 3 SVQ mechanical engineering
  
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
  
• Experience of working as a maintenance technician within a manufacturing environment demonstrating an understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably food
  
• Experience working with manufacturing systems; related controls and instrumentation systems
  
• Experience of process, packaging and service equipment
