Primary activities will be set around invoicing the brands from our marketplace team and include accurate and timely entry, review and distribution of sales invoices (devised closely with the account executives and account managers) and debtor management - you will be responsible for effective execution of the debtors financial This role has a significant impact on cash flow & forecasting as there will also be a requirement to support within the areas of team budgets and the pay out of monthly Customers will interact with this role on a day to day basis for any invoicing queries so delivering a high quality service and ensuring overall satisfaction is of prime

What the job involves:

  • Raising sales invoices from the sales team and connecting onto Xero and Monday in a timely manner
  • Sound knowledge of individual campaign based sales invoicing to the customer
  • Close interaction with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate sales invoicing on all campaigns
  • Multi-currency (GBP, USD and EUR) sales invoices including knowledge of appropriate VAT implications
  • Matching and processing of Accounts Payable invoices onto the Sales system and correcting any discrepancies
  • Raising of accruals monthly and matching monies paid back onto the system
  • Obtaining appropriate authorisations for invoices
  • Debtor reporting including ageing, disputed items, credits as well as debtor chasing and relationship management with our customers
  • Liaise with Finance for bad debt provision analysis/narrative
  • Monthly accurate cash allocation for projects
  • Checking and processing employee virtual card use
  • Assist in providing accurate and timely budget forecasting
  • Keeping track of sales results to ensure accurate monthly reporting
  • Checking Account Executive performance for EOM commissions
  • Tracking Account Manager performance for EOM commissions
  • Accurate tracking of payments for correct commission payout
  • Monitoring of invoices not paid for future commission payouts

General Responsibilities:

Monitor Finance Operations inbox and respond to or escalate queries as required

  • Provide ad hoc and general administrative support within the sales and sales operations team
  • Assist the finance team with finance related administration
  • Assist the sales team in managing relationships with clients via email queries relating to invoices and payments

Requirements:

  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • An ability to seek alternatives/innovative solutions to resolve
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in IT software and general computer skills
