Audio and Communications Engineer

The principal purpose of this position is to efficiently set up, operational testing of the in-field audio/communications facilities of any field or studio project you are assigned

• To liaise with the project s Audio Director and Technical Manager to ensure you are fully briefed on the size, scope, production schedule of the in-field audio and communications facilities
  
• To ensure all OB van audio communication facilities are functioning and patched to be operationally ready by the scheduled hand-over
  
• To ensure all in field audio and communications facilities are functioning by the scheduled production hand over time required by any project you are assigned
  
• Ensure the environment of the audio and communications facilities is neat and tidy and professionally presented and does not pose any danger to the general public or
  

What You Will Need:

• Detailed knowledge of audio consoles, with particular focus on LAWO and
  
• A good level of Operational experience is a definite requirement, and ideally the candidate should have a good level of understanding of these devices at an Engineering level
  
• Both Riedel and RTS communications systems are used across our fleet of trucks and HUBs, and a solid and fundamental knowledge of these (or similar) Communications systems is a necessary requirement in order to apply for this
  
• We do a lot of sport, so weekend and evening work are a predominant part of the
  
• Minimum 3 years of television broadcasting experience is preferred
