Key duties include:
- Possess the ability to read and understand wiring CAD drawings
- Provide technical support and training to clients of Audio, Video or Theater software and hardware
- Acts as liaison between Design Engineer and Field Staff when on an integration project
- Able to troubleshoot advance Theater Audio and Video systems and provide rapid solutions
- Captures field mark-ups to generate as-built drawings and presents to Design Engineer to update drawings
- Test and repairs all types of copper cable along with fiber cable
- Work with Project Manager, Design Engineer and Customer to see the completion of projects
Requirements
- Bachelors or formal Theater training or related technical entertainment experience preferred
- Demonstrate experience in multiple technical theater production areas such as lighting, video, and sound along with in-field installation
- Knowledge of speaker calibration and room tunning a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well with multiple trades
- Communicating effectively whether by spoken or written word, telephone or email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Familiarity of TCP/IP/SNMP Network topologies, VLANS and Cisco switches and other IT infrastructure preferred
