The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, PM, inventory, and maintenance on production machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical systems to the component level.
- Understand and repair industrial electrical systems.
- Install, maintain and repairs equipment required to meet production needs.
- Install services and repairs electric motors, heaters, coolers, refrigerators, and other related equipment using various hand and power tools.
- Move and replace machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble test parts as needed.
- Replace fuses, light bulbs and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment.
- Ability and willingness to assist in training.
- Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities of various forms.
Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- 4 or more years of related work experience in mechanical and / or electrical trades is preferred.
- Completion of a recognized program in vocational training for the mechanical or electrical trades preferred.
