For a permanent position at our client s site (up to 60% home office possible within Switzerland), a mid-sized bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader Application Management.

You'll be responsible for leading the team of Application Reliability Engineers, who are protecting, providing, and developing the systems and providing software services at the bank.

Tasks

• Leading the team members to define goals in IT strategy
• Responsible for simplification and automation such as technical transformation & team development
• Responsible for the budgeting process and all team activities
• Development of the team skills and future requirements
• Closely working with interfacing functions such as Engineering, Architecture, Solution Design, Change and Release Management, Testing, and Service Transition
• Planning of resources for recurring and one-time activities
• Workload projecting for new projects and product introductions
• Management and improvement of the team s capabilities adhering t othe bank s IT strategy and upcoming changes in technology
• Progress monitoring and resolving of conflicts such as ensuring the transparency

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in leading larger teams as well as proven experience in team management
• Strong IT Know-How within the banking area and in ITIL
• Solid knowledge of Audits and related tasks and the ability to work with 3rd party vendors
• Leadership knowledge with engineers and non-technical users is an advantage
• DevOps and related working environment Know-How is an advantage
• Strong communication skills with an open management style
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
