Job Description
This is a remote position.
TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful, award winning firm of chartered accountants who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent, remote working basis. With strong values, a modern approach to accounting and offering lots of autonomy, this is a really exciting opportunity to be part of a market leading accountancy practice. You will work in a mixed capacity across accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, utilising cloud software such as Xero, Quickbooks and Sage.
You can be based anywhere in the UK and will be responsible for:
- Preparation of sole trader, partnership and Limited Company accounts
- Reviewing and maintaining client s books and records
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of management reports to suit the client s needs
- Preparation of corporateand personal tax returns
- Providingcloud accountingservices for clients on Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2-3 years experience working within Accountancy Practice .
- Either Studying AAT, AAT Qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proficient using cloud systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
Benefits
- £24,000- £26,000 per annum
- 26 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holidays
