Silber Salon is a social long-life-learning platform for older people that enables tech companies to reach the largest part of the population directly.

With courses and other formats, we connect not only digital natives with older people, but also explain technological change continuously, simply & individually. We are the bridge between tomorrow's technologies and the older target group.

The goal is to enable the aging society to access the digital world and train them in its use throughout their lives - for more digital equality of opportunity and quality of life in old age.

For this huge social challenge and meaningful mission, we are looking for an ambitious Chief Technology Officer (m/w/d) in Berlin.

You are part of the founding team and work closely with the founder.

Tasks

• You ll attract, inspire and grow a world-class engineering team.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.
• You'll be building our product, team, and culture from the ground up.
• You ll get hands-on with building our first prototypes. You ll define and build scalable technology foundations to power our product as we scale, leading and delivering on our technical product roadmap.

Requirements

• You ve led a full-stack engineering team that digitizes real-world assets or systems in energy, manufacturing, or the built environment.
  This could include implementing machine learning models, developing digital twins, managing databases, and writing integrations to APIs.
• You re design-oriented, and love simplifying complex processes into beautiful user experiences.
• You enjoy working on early-stage ventures: ambiguity excites you, and you re comfortable making decisions without perfect data. You re a self-starter, and don t hesitate to roll up your sleeves.
