The Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor (EHS) is responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and
reporting for compliance with all applicable permit and regulatory requirements related to environmental health
and safety. The candidate will provide leadership, vision, and coaching to implement and continuously improve
our EHS standards and practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
Ensuring alignment of environmental health and safety policies with local, state and federal
regulations.
Energy Management and use reduction
Waste minimization and disposal.
Coordinate all EHS training
Onsite contact for all outside agency actions, including but not limited to inspections, NOVs, cleanups,
and complaints.
All EHS reporting requirements, including but not limited to Tier II, Biennial Hazardous Waste and Form
R reports
Maintenance of all EHS records
Compliance with all EHS policies and directives
Oversight of wastewater and chemical maintenance management programs.
Understand ISO 9100 quality program and related requirements as applies to position.
Supervise and manage EHS team
Conduct reviews as required.
Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required,
Master s degree desirable.
- 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Must be able to interpret documents
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
