Job Description

At Red Ember Technology, we re seeking a qualified business development specialist to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative and identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Key Responsibilities

Franchise & Independent sales and relationship building
Optimizing the network of customers which will include recruiting new and assist existing clients
Meet monthly sales target
Develop monthly & annual business plans with the idea and intention to grow clients with the inclusion of setting sales goals
Outline key areas where Red Ember Technology has no or limited customer coverage and grow these areas
Conducting regular meetings with clients to review their performance and define corrective actions
Conducting and assisting business partners & clients with software demonstrations and presentations as well as potential and existing clientele
Orchestrating and/or participating in marketing events as well as franchise and corporate events and functions
Work closely with the management team

Key Requirements

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Strong commercial awareness in all areas
Creative, practical and able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
High level of computer literacy, good Excel skills required
Experience of working in sales within a software solution sales environment (Preferably Payroll)
Good technical understanding from an application and technology perspective
Demonstrate success in a similar role
Knowledge of Sage Payroll solutions would be ideal


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree level qualification and / or equivalent in the relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience in New Business Development.
  • Knowledge of payroll and/or HR systems, preferred but not essential.
  • Selling Payroll software and related services.
