The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a proactive and responsible consultant to conduct a literature review on the following topics:
- Product profiles, market segments, seed delivery pathways / seed business models, and dissemination strategies for new varieties.
- Methodologies to estimate seed requirements quantitatively and qualitatively, estimate farmers seed demand, and how private companies deal with variability on demand.
The review will focus on potatoes. Other crops (especially maize) and vegetatively propagated crops (sweetpotato, cassava, banana, and yam) are included for comparative purposes and as relevant.
