Job Duties: Use business analytics to transform business needs into high quality and scalable systems to foster Zendesks dynamic growth, in partnership with Revenue and Finance organizations. Assist Finance and accounting team on month-end close activities and reconciliations. Build out systems analytics processes that further automate accounting activities and help reduce days-to-close. Collaborate directly with users to gather requirements, implement, test and deploy new features on a regular basis. Understand and document the current state of business process, including data flows. For data related questions: use SQL to trace data from beginning to end and liaise with other systems team to thoroughly understand how data moves through each system. Create and edit ad-hoc or monthly report in various systems and databases such as Salesforce, Cloud-based data warehouse, billing systems. Quickly learn new technologies, think out-of-the-box to find creative solutions, and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Telecommuting Permitted. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of Business/Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Management, or related occupation.
