Job Description
Title:Software Tester
Location:1601 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg PA 17110
Note: This is an on-site opportunity and interview will be conducted on-site, at above location.
Job Description
The position of Software Tester 2 supports both the PA Fish and Boat and the PA Game Commissions in testing the specifications and requirements of the Commissions Pennsylvania Automated License Service (PALS) Systems contract. The position will maintain the role of tester and be required to develop user acceptance test scripts which may include, but are not limited to, RSS, web/internet POS, harvest reporting, IVR systems and full regression testing within an Agile testing environment.
Required Skills
- Application development testing
- College degree or equivalent technical study
- Creating test scripts and use case scenarios for user acceptance
- Ability to complete tasks within established timelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel
- Microsoft TFS or similar tool
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with testing in an Agile environment
- Performing business analysis as a primary or collateral duty
- Validating data mapping requirements
- Familiarity with data migration strategies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- Prior Commonwealth experience
- Prior experience with core agency functions (hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, resource management, conservation)
