Overhead Crane Electric Service Technician Lake Charles, LA regi

Delta Rigging & Tools, Sulphur, LA Branch, Overhead Crane Repair Field Service - Seeking eligible candidate with proven accredited, or proven OJT experience, for immediate long-term hiring. This job also entails periodic repairs to industrial equipment within the job scope.

Prospective candidates must: have a valid drivers license with clean record, be able to pass a physical, drug test, background test, currently possess, or can immediately secure, a valid TWIC card.

Prospective candidate must possess ability to:
read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 460 VAC - 3 phase electrical motors and controls circuitry.
work from heights by utilizing: man-lifts, scissor lift, or scaffolding and not suffer from Acrophobia (fear of heights).
work un-supervised or as part of a team.
self-motivated and able to follow through with repairs at numerous customer facilities in and around the Lake Charles, LA area.
work outdoors in SE Louisiana heat/cold as required and be safe while doing so.
Must own electricians hand tools, quality electrical test meter, steel toed boots.
Stand, kneel, crouch, for periods of time during regular job duties.
Lift 30 lbs. independently.
Lift 150 lbs. with additional personnel helping.

Long sleeved FRC uniforms will be provided by Delta. All safety gear will be provided by Delta.

Employee compensation is competitive with overtime opportunities, company percentage matched 401K, health benefits, company provided Service Truck (after 90-day probationary period). Company provided laptop and phone, must be able to input data from inspections and normal daily work routines via listed equipment.

A qualified candidates expected salary will range from $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
