CT & MRI Technologist

1. Responsible for the performance of CT and MR diagnostic procedures. 2.Responsible for RIS functions as they relate to CT/MR procedures.
3.Responsible for assisting Radiologists with procedures as required. Monitoring of sedated patients in accordance to hospital sedation policy.
2. Responsible for patient, peer, and personal safety. Communicates information about patient examinations, schedule, patient's condition and equipment to the appropriate individual.
3. Responsible for inter and intra Departmental relations, i.e., maintains professional communication.
4. Responsible for conservation of supplies. Monitoring equipment performance status and reports problems to appropriate supervisor.
5. Responsible for continuing education in accordance with ARRT.
6. Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred. 2 nd and 3rd shift must be able to complete both x-ray and CT procedures.
