Job Description:
Electronic Assembler
Assemble circuit boards, cables and small mechanical assemblies of various sizes and complexity, inspect products to ensure high quality and workmanship. It is essential to have the ability to hand solder extremely small components, therefore, good eyesight and hand dexterity is a must.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Assemble PCBs with SMT and through-hole components
Build cable assemblies
Rework
Qualifications:
Ability to hand solder extremely small components
Read/understand assembly drawings/instructions
Basic math and measuring skills
Speak, read and write English fluently
Excellent hand soldering skills
Identify electronic components, polarity, color code and value
Excellent hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
Attention to detail
One or more years of experience
A written as well as a hands-on skill test will be given as part of the interview process.
Working Environment: Production area is clean, well-ventilated, and air conditioned. Employee will have his/her own work station. Management will provide all necessary tools and equipment. Some projects will require use of safety equipment such as, but not limited to, protective eye wear.
Physical Requirements: The job duties may require an employee to sit for extended periods of time, use hand dexterity to assemble projects, and visually inspect work.
Education: High School diploma or GED
Experience: Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications: Soldering certification(s) preferred
