Position:SQL Server DBA Location:Bothell,WA Duration:6+ Months Required Skills:Minimum of 5+ years in supporting SQL Server databasesMinimum of 5+ years working experience in Windows Enterprise ServerMinimum of 5+ years working in IT development and/or technical supportKnowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server installation and configuration procedures.Very good knowledge on SQL Server memory structures, Backup & recovery Concepts, Performance Tuning, etc.Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and related virtualization platforms.Working knowledge of hardware, including RAID, multi-processor architecture, etc.Working knowledge of networking and how it relates to database operations and connectivity.Ability to create scripts and tools from scratch needed for database administration.Advanced knowledge of shell/powershell scripting (i.e. command line applications, batch files, etc.)
