React Native Developer (f/m/x) - B2C / FashionTech

This job can be fully remote, hybrid or fully onsite in Berlin, up to you!

We are looking for a software engineer to join our team to develop a new generation of software products providing immersive, interactive and personalised experiences that make users buy better, not more. The ideal candidate will have a lot of experience creating React Native applications in TypeScript. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, writing unit tests, and refactoring existing code.

We have recently raised our seed round by The Merantix Venture Studio and are looking for entrepreneurial individuals to join our quest to find and scale our product market fit.

Your role

Below are some of the responsibilities you will take on in this role:

• Design, build, test, and release mobile applications
• Write clean, concise, and efficient code
• Manage code documentation and version control
• Work in an agile environment to release software on a regular schedule
• Troubleshoot and debug software
• Work with products owners and product designers to define software requirements
• Work closely with AI experts to integrate ML models into the application and the backend infrastructure

Your profile

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
• 2+ years of experience working with React Native on production applications
• Experience in integrating platform-dependent code into React Native applications
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Good knowledge of UI/UX best practices and guidelines for iOS and Android operating systems
• Experience with build tools such as esbuild and webpack
• Good working knowledge of the Linux operating system
