Tasks

Leading the development of The Rainforest Companys brand architecture across multiple geos (focus DACH but also other markets), brand positioning and design to further drive The Rainforest Companys brand and its perception among customers with the aim to increase brand valuening the company brand, for leading the strategy for brand activations, and developing the overarching brand architecture. You also oversee the entire online marketing team including paid social and search channels, CRM and influencer marketing.

  • Build Rainforest as the most relevant and loveable brand
  • The Head of Marketing owns the entire marketing function at The Rainforest Company. This includes oversight of Brand Strategy as well as Online Marketing. You work with the entire marketing team of The Rainforest Company as well as outside agencies. You are responsible for positioning the company brand, leading the strategy for brand activations, and developing the overarching brand architecture. You also oversee the entire online marketing team including paid social and search channels, CRM and influencer marketing.
  • Leading the development of The Rainforest Companys brand architecture across multiple geos (focus DACH but also other markets), brand positioning and design to further drive the The Rainforest Companys brand and its perception among customers with the aim to increase brand value
  • Consolidating and analyzing customer insights, identifying market opportunities and understanding commercial requirements to make strategic trade-offs transparent, delivering a sound foundation to base strategic decision-making
  • Delivering inspired work, informed by cultural intelligence and new/ existing data and research
  • Working with other team members and external parties on data analysis, content strategy, design, media buying/ planning, creatives and others
  • Engaging with the founder and executive team to gain alignment around Brand Strategy and success metrics

Requirements

You are a highly skilled communicator with a proven ability to ask and answer difficult questions, advise stakeholders, and be a true partner to creative teams. You are a hybrid thinker: equal parts analytical acumen and creative fluency.

Finally, you are able to look beyond and understand consumer behavior and more than just follow trends you are ambitious enough to create them.

Key Responsibilities

  • 4+ years experience in a strategist or planning role at a brand-side company, agency, or research company
  • Experience leading the development of responsive marketing in creative mediums, including paid online and offline channels
  • Experience collaborating with dynamic organizations
  • Experience building, implementing and optimizing brand foundations
  • Experience building research plans and partnering with insights teams
  • Analytical/ data-driven experience
  • Experience presenting to executive and senior leadership
  • Finally: You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

The Head of Marketing will directly report to the founder & CEO.

Location

The position is located in Berlin or remote with the ability to travel to Berlin on a regular basis.
