About us

Every 3 seconds someone in the world develops dementia. With an ever-aging population the number of people who suffer from dementia will double by 2030 and more than triple by 2050. The World Health Organization calls dementia a public health priority. However, currently there are no therapies or drugs on the market.

neotiv is a team of scientists, developers and technically passionate people that share a vision to prevent and intervene dementia. We have created a software system to detect early signs of dementia to enable early intervention of the disease. neotiv is a proud spin-off from Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg in close collaboration with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE). We are funded by renown investors and science transfer grants that enable us to realize our mission to improve people s lives.

Tasks

Your responsibilities

• You are the main interface between our development team and the server administration team
• You are the contact person for our development team in case of pipeline difficulties and further development of the DevOps cycle.
• You are responsible for the further development and maintenance of the deployment of the products
• You maintain and extend our CI with GitLab, SonarSource, CycloneDX, Flux and other software solutions.
• You help us to comply with the regulations of our medical devices and report found problems to the Development Team or Information Security Team
• You help the development team with the implementation of the products in the cluster

Requirements

Your profile

• Relevant work experience as a developer, in information security, in the DevOps or DevSecOps area
• You bring experience in a programming language (e.g. Python, C / C++, Java or similar)
• You have practical knowledge of GitLab and ideally have already worked with Sonarsource or Ansible.
• You work independently and on your own responsibility and are willing to familiarize yourself with new technologies and tools.
• You appreciate good documentation, you have very good communication skills and for this you bring along very good German and English knowledge in word and writing
