Job Description

Trilogic Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well established, leading childcare provider in the Thames Valley area. They provide care to children ages 3 months - 5 years old across five locations.

They are looking for a Room Leader and Deputy Manager to join the team.

This position is located in Henley-On-Thames, Oxfordshire.
The nursery is open from 7.30am - 6pm, you will be working 40 hours a week.
Salary - Depending on Experience - From 20,500 up to 26,500.

This is a full time, permanent position. The nursery may consider part-time for the right candidate.


Your responsibilities will be shared between Room Leader and Deputy Manager duties.
Your key Responsibilities will be:

1.Work closely with the manager to ensure the safety and well being of all children in the manager s care, resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents.

2.Manage the staff at Nursery level to ensure morale is kept high within the nursery team.

3.To manage stock control ensuring budgets are adhered to.

4.Carry out the duties of the manager in his or her absence and use own initiative to carry out any other duties required for the smooth running of the nursery.

5. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents.

6. Caring for the all round daily needs of the children to enhance their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

7. Supervise all staff within your room to ensure high standards are constantly achieved.

8. Contribute effectively to the team maintaining a high level of communication throughout the whole nursery.

Requirements


  • Worked in a Early Years Setting before, as a Room Leader or Deputy Manager - But will consider a Qualified Candidate looking to progress.
  • Level 2 or 3 Qualification held.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each individual child
  • Knowledge of the EYFS [ Early Years Foundation Stage ]
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection + other legislative requirements.
