Job Description

Campos EPC is currently seeking a Data Systems Manager for a full -time position located in Denver Colorado.


*Hybrid working model.


Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and modifying data systems architecture to clarify and accelerate data analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee the integrations of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures
  • Develop and maintain company data dictionary to ensure data integrity is maintained across multiple databases and data platforms.
  • Develop and manage data connectivity and integrations between various databases including Deltek Vantagepoint, UKG, Oracle, MS Power Apps, and other systems utilized across the Campos Family of Companies. Evaluate API s, EDI s, and other data communication/transfer protocols and select best method to ensure data is transferred timely, and accurately.
  • Develop data policies, procedures, standards, and data testing protocols.
  • Establish data pipeline workflows and design and implement process automations.
  • Maintain data integrity and security including the security of Personally Identifiable Information.
  • Maintain data plans and instructions for the management and operation of complex systems
  • Ensure the proper sorting and organizing of databases.
  • Evaluate the performance of data systems and process flows and initiate projects towards optimization.
  • Resolve data conflict issues to ensure data ownership rules are followed.
  • Adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and manage company data guidelines.
  • Review client data security guidelines and develop appropriate internal guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Creates data quality metrics and reporting to validate and enforce operating and key control activities


Data Systems Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or related field
  • Deep knowledge in data modeling, database design, and reporting from conceptualization through optimization.
  • Prior experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
  • Proven experience leading in the management of data systems
  • Remain on the leading edge of advances in technology that enhance data management, automation, data systems architecture and machine learning.
  • Proficient with database languages such as SQL, Python, etc.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and organize large amounts of data to assist leadership in business decision making.
  • Ability to compile and organize findings for presentation to management
  • Ability to identify patterns, relationships, errors and outliers in data and statistical sets.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Project management skills in the planning, design and execution of data related projects
