Position: Aircraft Structures Technician

Location: Tampa, Florida

Benelux Tek Aerospace has exciting opportunities for full-time Aircraft Structures Mechanic in Tampa, Florida to work with a company that is proud to deliver its services all around USA.

Responsibilities

Aircraft Structural Technicians are expected to be able to demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency and perform the following functions:

Technical

• Restore or repair defects using unique aircraft fastening hardware, composite materials, chemicals, adhesives, paints, and textiles.
  

• Manufacture aircraft equipment, components or replacement items from base metals using special cutting tools and milling machines.
  

• Fabricate and repair aircraft structures using composite, fiberglass, textiles, leather, plastic, and synthetic components.
  

• Ensure that all maintenance operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures.
  

• Troubleshoot aircraft s structural systems to identify problems and adjust/repair the defects according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures.
  

• Perform and document scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance as dictated by the manufacturer,
  

Documentation & Administration

• Ensures appropriate documentation is completed accurately and on time
  

• Sources required technical information in maintenance manuals
  

• Ability to complete ERP processes and procedures correctly
  

• Safety
  

Applying safe work practices in all job duties, including:

• Wearing all appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
  

• Understanding and applying the Risk Management System
  

• Understanding and applying Health & Safety Policies
  

• Maintaining good housekeeping and cleanliness standards
  

• Understanding and applying safe handling practices with the aircraft

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician
  

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions with strong attention to detail.
  

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions.
  

• Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with high attention to detail.
  

• Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines
