Job Description

The Staff Pad is partnering with a new Behavioral Health Clinic in the Lewis-Clark Valley. We are hiring a Behavior Health Provider to provide individual and group counseling services to patients. Our client is a non-profit whose mission is to improve the overall health of their community by expanding access to quality health and wellness services. They hope to fill a void within the community by offering mental health services to everyone, regardless of insurance status.

Work schedule:
  • Flexible - full-time or part-time Monday - Friday
  • 8 or 10 hour shifts available
  • No Call or weekends

Responsibilities:
  • Provides individual and group counseling services within individual scope of practice to assist in clients in achieving more effective personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment
  • Available to primary care providers for behavioral health staffing and consultation.
  • Collects psycho-social data about individuals and provides gathered information to providers to assist them in managing medical care.
  • Perform mental health evaluations utilizing approved evaluation tools assessing amenability to mental health treatment and level of care needed.
  • Develops detailed care plans for each client and document as part of the electronic health record.
  • Links clients with various community resources.
  • Provides in-service training for other staff as requested.
  • Participates in community outreach activities as directed.
Requirements:
  • Valid state licensure as a Social Worker Advanced or Independent Clinical Associate - Advanced.
  • Two years of clinical practice with under-served populations desired.
  • Knowledge of available community linkage resources.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Work requires consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion.
  • BLS, CPR, AED required.
  • Valid drivers license and insurance required.
  • Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required.
