The Staff Pad is partnering with a new Behavioral Health Clinic in the Lewis-Clark Valley. We are hiring a Behavior Health Provider to provide individual and group counseling services to patients. Our client is a non-profit whose mission is to improve the overall health of their community by expanding access to quality health and wellness services. They hope to fill a void within the community by offering mental health services to everyone, regardless of insurance status.
Work schedule:
- Flexible - full-time or part-time Monday - Friday
- 8 or 10 hour shifts available

Responsibilities:
- Provides individual and group counseling services within individual scope of practice to assist in clients in achieving more effective personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment
- Available to primary care providers for behavioral health staffing and consultation.
- Collects psycho-social data about individuals and provides gathered information to providers to assist them in managing medical care.
- Perform mental health evaluations utilizing approved evaluation tools assessing amenability to mental health treatment and level of care needed.
- Develops detailed care plans for each client and document as part of the electronic health record.
- Links clients with various community resources.
- Provides in-service training for other staff as requested.
- Participates in community outreach activities as directed.
Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker Advanced or Independent Clinical Associate - Advanced.
- Two years of clinical practice with under-served populations desired.
- Knowledge of available community linkage resources.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Computer skills required.
- Work requires consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion.
- BLS, CPR, AED required.
- Valid drivers license and insurance required.
- Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required.
