Job Description
Scriptwriter role - In-house - Hybrid working - Excellent employer and benefits
negotiable depending upon experience
Our client, a growing business near Chester is seeking an experienced Scriptwriter/Copywriter to join their Marketing team. Its a really exciting time to join, theyre growing and bringing a lot of skills in-house that have previously been outsourced. This role enables you to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Youll be working closely with the wider Marketing department (including digital marketing, video production etc) and youll be writing scripts for various events throughout the year.
- Writing scripts for various events - online, and offline throughout the UK
- Working with internal and external stakeholders
- Writing copy for various marketing channels when required
- Adapting tone, and writing style depending upon the audience
- Working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to understand each project requirements
Requirements
What experience will you need?
- Must have experience of writing scripts, whether for TV, radio, or other relevant experience
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Journalism Degree or similar
- Must be able to work well under pressure and adapt writing styles
- Mentor and coaching junior members of the team
