Senior Estimator

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Interior installations company with ambition. We are looking for an experienced estimator who is enthusiastic and motivated and has worked in internal fit out. Because of security checks you will need to be resident in the UK.
Ideally with 3+ years of experience of working on projects ranging from 5k - 1m.

Role and Responsibilities.

Take responsibility for the cost creation and quoting of multiple enquiries / projects.
Be able to price bills of quantities, and specifications.
Evaluate the tender information and prepare a tender action plan.
Understanding detailed working drawings from architects and designers and produce scopes of work for pricing from technical drawings.
Clearly scope with involvement of manager where appropriate subcontractor and material enquiries and issue to agreed list.
Go on site visits with clients to prepare scopes of work and gain a detailed understanding of their requirements and needs.
Deliver Sub-contractor and supplier packages.
Be able to deal with quick turnaround of multiple projects ranging in value from 5k to 1m
Preparation of quotes and tender packages.
Negotiate valuations and final pricing, ensuring work won is at a profitable margin for the company. Consider alternatives which may produce financial or program advantages.
Ensuring costs are tracked and validated.
Responsible for key supplier liaison and external pricing in line with project/costing needs
Promotion and development of the companys sales and advertising
