Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Director of Water Resources Engineer to their Chicago team!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an industry expert and oversee the technical components of H&H modeling/analysis and stormwater facility design
- Maintain standard operation procedures for Hydrologic and Hydraulics(H&H) modeling/analysis
- Perform quality control on H&H studies/design
- Ensure QA/QC standards are met
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Develop Hydrologic and Hydraulic models for municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems
- Serve as Technical Lead for Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans, Streambank Restoration Assessment/Design and Floodplain Mitigation
- Work with permitting agencies for local, state and federal permits
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Master s degree in Water Resources Engineering preferred
- 12+ years of stormwater project design
- PE License
- Experience with infrastructure design/plan preparation
- Extensive knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics and H&H modeling (SWMM, ICM, HEC, etc.)
