Transportation Project Manager

Full-service Illinois engineering firm is currently seeking a motivated Transportation Project Manager to work out of their Chicago suburb office.

• Manage/lead IDOT, Tollway, county and municipal projects
  
• Perform roadway/highway design tasks for moderate to large size projects with guidance from senior engineers
  
• Tasks include roadway/highway geometrics, drainage system design, traffic analysis/design, barrier warrant analyses and maintenance of traffic, municipal engineering and general civil/site development
  
• Produce preliminary design studies/project reports
  
• Prepare specifications, quality take-offs, traffic studies/traffic analysis and check design computations
  
• Coordinate engineering plan/permit submittals
  
• Prepare Engineer s Opinion of Probable Cost for transportation projects and roadway elements of non-transportation projects
  
• Assist with scope and development of fee proposals
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
  
• PE License or ability to obtain within six months
  
• Project management experience
  
• Proficient in MicroStation
