Structural Engineer

Full-service Illinois engineering firm is currently seeking a motivated Senior Structural Engineer to work out of their Chicago suburb office.

• Work closely with local agencies, Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois State Toll Highway projects
  
• Prepare documentation of structural design computations
  
• Prepare technical and project reports
  
• Field inspection of structural elements
  

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
  
• 5+ years of bridge/structural design experience
  
• State of Illinois Professional Engineering License
  
• State of Illinois Structural Engineering License or ability to obtain in two years
  
• Experience working with MicroStation
  
• Experience working withstructural design/load rating software (MDX, Larsa 4D, AASHTOWare, Bentley Leap Bridge and OpenBridge Modeler)
