Compensation is success-based and uncapped, depending on the skill-level and dedication of the Associate to accomplish company objectives. The main duties include originating new business opportunities and developing relationships with affluent individuals. Must be a team player, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and an already built investor network. Living inside the United States is preferred.
About our Firm
Koev Brothers is a Washington DC area Private Investor and Media Group. Started by brothers Sotti and Marty after their experience working in Private Equity and building technology and media companies. The Group provides capital introductions, originates loans and other business opportunities and makes private investments. The main areas of interest are private operating companies, real estate, media and funds. Traditionally, these are businesses with at least $500 K in annual revenues. The firm is a big supporter of military veteran entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities
The Associate will work directly for the Co-Founders, Managers of the firm, and will contribute to the deal-making process. Previous relevant professional experience is a must. The Associate will have the highest sense of integrity and work ethic. Specific responsibilities include:
Developing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families
Sourcing and evaluating early and later stage venture deals
Sourcing and evaluating commercial lending opportunities
Exceptional relationship building, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving capabilities
Preparing for and accomplishing strategic business objectives
Completing project deliverables on time at highest level of quality
Qualifications
The Associate will possess the following qualifications:
Strong sense of ethics, integrity and attention to detail
Superb analytical, client relationship and business development skills
Internally motivated, results-oriented, coachable
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and on a fast-paced team
Previous substantial, personal or professional experience with investors is (Required)
Pipeline of venture deals or companies seeking loans: (Required)
2+ years of relevant experience in either investment banking, wealth management, venture capital, private equity or hedge funds: (Preferred)
Military Veteran Experience: (Preferred)
