Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Training Provider with a proven track record in the Training and Development sector.

Applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to build positive relationships with new and existing employers on a telesales basis. A proven track record in sales/telesales (minimum of 1 years experience) is essential.

The role will involve:

  • providing outstanding levels of initial information and advice regarding our services, training programmes and funding, including Apprenticeships, Traineeships and other work-based training opportunities.
  • securing appointments for our external Employer Engagement Team to further discuss our programmes/services.

The above position will be filled by an individual who is professional, motivated, committed to the development of people and will fit into our first-class team.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide outstanding levels of initial information and advice regarding our services, training programmes and funding.
Undertake daily outbound sales calls and book appointments for the external Employer Engagement Team to further discuss our programmes/services.
Ensure the accurate use of our bespoke Customer Relationship Management systems to record/manage/track employer communications and engagement activities (including details of all appointments/correspondence/cold calling activities).
Manage incoming calls and act as a first point of contact for employer queries, providing advice and solutions.
Work closely with/support the external Employer Engagement Team and ASET (Apprenticeship Service Engagement Team) with starts processing/administration.
Maintain long term positive relationships with existing employers and identify/develop relationships with new customers.
Bring forward continuous improvements and innovative ideas regarding enhancements to the employer engagement process.
Where appropriate, signpost employers to alternative/additional support/training outside our remit/portfolio.
Support the Recruitment Team with the booking of employer interviews for applicants and raising applicant vacancies.
Work closely with the Recruitment and Study Programme Teams to support the recruitment of potential Study Programme learners and to maximise work experience/placement opportunities.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL/ DESIRABLE (E/D)

QUALIFICATIONS
4 GCSEs or equivalent including English at Grade 4/C or above.
Educated to Level 3 or above. E

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the education sector. D

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 years experience in a sales or customer focussed role. E
