Job Description

One of our clients, a global leader in electronic proprietary trading, is looking for an equities QuantTrader to join their team in Singapore. In this role you will develop quantitative, systematic, rules-based high-frequency trading strategies to address the opportunities in the cryptocurrency space, deal with the day-to-day operational running of those strategies, and work on future research and optimization of the strategies.

Requirements

You should have:
  • A bachelors degree or higher in an analytical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computational Finance, or similar)
  • An entrepreneurial, innovative and driven approach, and a competitive nature
  • 5+ years experience in systematic capital markets trading
  • Experience with data analytics and modelling, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Python is desirable
  • A collaborative approach to strategy research, development and optimization
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal)
