The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work for a company who have become international market leaders in the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for rail systems.

The role of the Planner is to lead together with the Program Manager the strategy of the Program Plan, challenging the Program Team to achieve the best possible plan


Location: Munich

Key Role and Responsibilities

- Elaborate a Preliminary Program Plan that is agreed by Core Team.
- Develop the Program Plan integrating the activities from departments. Identify the critical path.
- Follow-up of the activities of the Program Plan
- Update the Program Plan and report to Core Team the progress status of the plan, identifies risks to define mitigation plans and propose alternatives and recovery plans in case of delays.
- Close the monthly consolidated program plan, elaborate reports and calculate KPIs.
- If required, develop and agree upon a new Baseline Plan with Core Team.
- Attend Core Team meetings and the necessary sub forum meetings.
- Develop the Client contractual documentation related to program planning. Report to the Client, with the periodicity required by the contract or agreed the progress status of the plan and the actualizations to be made on Client Plan.
- If required, rebaseline the Client Plan and inform of any impact on contractual commitments.
- Do Scenario Analysis taking into account internal or client changes.
- Ensure the capitalization of the knowledge gained on the program by collecting the relevant lessons learnt.

The Candidate

- Has a degree in Engineering.
- Has at least 5 years of experience as a Planner preferably in the Railway sector.
- Skilled in Project Management software (MS Project, Primavera)
- Is organized, proactive and has good interpersonal skills
- Speaks fluent German, English and Spanish.
