An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join their team at their fast-growing manufacturing premises on a full-time permanent basis. You will be part of the leadership team, responsible for the overall efficiency and effective running of the manufacturing site, with a team of Production and Packing Managers reporting to you.
The Role
- Helping the company to promote high morale and communicate the company s operating policies, customer issues and safety measures
- Developing, training and enforcing operations policies
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Ensuring lines start on time
- Holding opening meetings with production and packing managers
- Communicating effectively with all colleagues on a day-to-day basis to achieve results
- Providing cover for production/packing managers as and when required
- Tracking KPIs
- Monitoring quality control group
- Carrying out internal audits
- Carrying out site visits
- Preparing reports
- Sharing knowledge, skills and experiences with others allowing colleagues to look for new ways of working to drive continuous improvement within the business
- Facilitating and enabling an environment of collaboration and championing others ideas by listening and removing barriers where necessary
Requirements
- An experienced people manager with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
