Job Description

Campos EPC is currently looking for an Engineer II for a full-time role located in Denver, CO.

Project examples include pipeline and facility pressure tests, derates, pipeline and regulator station replacements, and new valve set installations.

Duties include but are not limited to the following.

1. Review engineering drawings to ensure constructability and adherence to company standards and Operations preferences.

2. Gather input from stakeholders (Operations, Operations Engineering, Engineering groups, etc.) and implement into design and procedures.

3. Write operational procedures

4. Serve as person-in-charge for tie-in and other critical procedure steps.

5. Coordinate on-site meetings to define scope, plan for land use, and identify constructability issues.

6. Provide input to construction schedule and verify alignment from key stakeholders (HP Ops, Gas Operations Engineering, Construction Contractor, Inspection).

7. Coordinate construction services among various internal and external parties including, but not limited to the following.

a. Transmission Operations

b. Distribution Operations

c. Stopple crew

d. Cathodic Protection technician

e. (electrical and instrumentation group)

f. Construction contractors

g. Material vendors

h. NDE contractors

i. Painting contractors

j. Odorization contractors

k. LNG tank temp feed contractors

l. Other utility companies, especially third party gas distribution companies.

m. Landowners

8. Provide "on-call" engineering support during construction. (Includes some occasional night and weekend work.)

9. Travel to work sites within the state of Colorado to support design and construction. (Up to approximately 25% travel)

10. Create and maintain SAP WOs following a poorly documented and constantly changing process.

11. Request POs be issued to various external contractors for materials and services.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree or related discipline.

4-8 years of professional experience required. Experience in oil & gas/utility industry required.

Thorough knowledge of P&ID s.

Good knowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192 & 195).
