Job Description
- 12-Month NSW Government Contract
- $750 per day + Super
- CBD Office
Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Technical Design Manager (Architect) to join their team.
This role will work alongside the Design Lead Urban Schools to provide master planning and concept design guidance to external development partners, during the RFP (Request for Proposal) stage of formal tender evaluations for the development of Urban Schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- During the RFP process, act as a design subject matter expert and work with the Strategic Transactions team and external design consultants to ensure best practice design considerations are being implemented in the master planning and concept design of Urban Schools.
- Undertake detailed design assessments of concept design to ensure compliance with the Urban School Guidelines, Site Selection and Master planning Guidelines, EFSG and MMC standards.
- Identify opportunities for value management to Urban School building designs to ensure value for money outcomes are delivered for Government.
Selection Criteria:
- A minimum 10 years industry experience on large projects preferably with experience in urban renewal and mixed use precinct design with best practice urban design and architectural outcomes.
- Experience in leading teams to develop integrated masterplan and concept designs in accordance with agreed design and operational principles and objectives.
- Strong understanding and experience in building design and experience with delivery of major capital projects and mixed-use precincts. A strong understanding of good urban design principles are required.
On offer is a 12 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
