Job Description
TPF Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Senior or Junior Manager to join a regional accountancy practice with a national reach, specialising in the healthcare sector. You will work in a specialist, and experienced team, supporting the directors and partners with the growth and development of the health care division within this market leading accountancy practice. You will work with a wide array of clients in the medical sector, particularly GP Practices.
As a Senior Accountant/ Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing (and reviewing) draft accounts for medical practices and associated companies.
- Preparing (and reviewing) business and personal tax computations and returns as required.
- Managing workload and client expectations.
- Working within budgets set at the planning stage.
- Overseeing junior staff in the preparation of accounts and tax returns, providing training where required and assisting with their development.
- Ensuring the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients with the management of their accounting systems.
- Take an active role in business development and promoting the firm in the local area.
Requirements
- You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts and tax, and all around general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice environment.
- Previous experience in the medical sector would be advantageous but isnt essential. If not, then strong experienceof cloud software would be of interest, such as Xero, Sage and Quickbookswould be advantageous.
Benefits
35,000 - 45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
