Job Description
Our client is hiring a Bookkeeper with 5+ years of experience, preferable with a strong background in Quickbooks, multi-currency and e-commerce to join their Milton team!
Who is our client? Our client is a progressive, innovative and quickly growing, multi-site coffee distributor with showroom, warehouse and maintenance shop, providing the finest coffee equipment, espresso machines and accessories, with a strong focus on quality, resulting in many raving fans!
Salary:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Hours of Work:
9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Manage real time document control of all transactions.
- Match purchase orders with invoices.
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management.
- Monitor office expenses as well as tally and enter cash receipts
- Assist with financial statements, as needed, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, as well as balance sheets.
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Bookkeeping experience is required, but 4 years or more is a strong asset.
- Must have Quickbooks (preferred online) with multi-currency knowledge and experience.
- Experience within an e-commerce environment, as well as with Shopify, is an strong asset.
- Being technically adept is critical. Automation and efficiency is a priority.
- Ability to accurately analyze and reconcile accounts.
- High level of attention to detail combined with strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent data entry and computer skills are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- A love for all things coffee is a bonus!
