Job Summary:
The People Operations Specialist will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization s People Operations department and database administration of both the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR Management System (HRMS).
Essential Function:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies and hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records in HRMS
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical/data entry support to the People Operations and Professional Services department.
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS and ATS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS and ATS users.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS and ATS users.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between People Operations, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS and ATS design and implementation projects.
- Handles all set-up for employee onboarding in HRMS.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with employee relations activities including, but not limited to, employee satisfaction survey s (NPS), periodic retention interviews, exit interviews and people operations troubleshooting.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with applicant tracking system, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. Must be a power-user or Administrator of one or both of these types of systems.
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in related field required.
- Prior HR or People Operations experience required.
