Job Description
- Develop, using RCM where appropriate, maintenance and spare parts strategies for new or existing gas system assets.
- Up-date SAP asset records to reflect additions, replacements or changes.
- Work with the operations and maintenance organization in the planning and implementation of maintenance activities for all aspect of gas system assets to ensure optimal physical and financial performance.
- Analyze maintenance/failure data to optimize planned maintenance frequencies and implement improvements.
- Review corrective work requests for appropriateness, conduct repair vs. replace analyses, and initiate engineering review where appropriate.
- Collaborate with capital planning group to identify future capital expenditures identified through maintenance activities.
- Develop metrics for maintenance performance, asset reliability and costs; communicate metrics and performance to stakeholders in operations.
- Collect feedback from operations stakeholders for improvements to maintenance plans and performance measures.
- Prepare and present maintenance rationale for changes, enhancements and process redesign related to maintenance activities;
- collect stakeholder feedback, ensure compliance to all codes and standards, demonstrate financial impact of changes.
- Work in collaboration with operations and maintenance managers to prepare a 1-5 year look ahead maintenance plan and contribute in the preparation of annual budgets and resource plans.
- Investigate equipment failures and use learnings to improve O&M programs specific to all gas system assets.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders including field operations, plant operations, Engineering and Finance.
- Participate in industry forums to keep abreast of best practices and systems in Asset Management.
