IT/SAP Finance Program Manager (fully remote, excellent English mandatory)

Taxera Technologies is an SAP Partner Saas company. We developed a global Indirect Tax platform in the cloud that integrates with SAP and we also work with multinationals on their SAP Finance/Tax Digital transformation projects. The platform is used by multinationals to manage their Indirect Tax compliance obligations around the world. We are speaking about E-Invoicing, SAF-T, CTC Continuous Transaction Control.

Taxera is now looking for anIT/SAP Finance Senior Program Managerwith previous Indirect Tax Compliance experience. You should have already worked and managed SAP Finance Projects with Tax Localization/CTC Continuous Transaction Control/E-Invoicing/SAF-T.

YOUR ROLE

AnIT/SAP Finance Senior Program Managerat Taxera wears many hats (the more you are familiar with the Taxera platform, the more hats you can wear). Responsibilities will vary depending on the size of the implementation and your own technical acumen. This involves driving all the project stages, including planning and execution, act as the primary customer interface and perform project management activities. Build and lead project plans; supervise and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.

• Participate in client discovery sessions working with technical and functional team members to identify the right solution for each client
  
• Work with the client to translate their needs into detailed company requirements
  
• Work closely with the Technical Lead to ensure the business requirements are accurately translated into technical requirements, and the team has all the information required to action
  
• Describe and explain the solution to the stakeholders during RFP presentation
  
• Lead development of Saas offering, focusing on improving the customer experience
  
• You be asked to assists during the Opportunity Management Phase of the customer engagement by providing input into the proposal or completing specific proposal deliverables - especially in the area of delivery model, project structure, organization, scoping, estimation and risk assessment.
  
• Lead the project and business teams through integration testing and UAT; manage and resolve test defects
  
• Collaborate with delivery leads, and create sound governance & decision support
  
• Manage project/enhancement/maintenance/production support activities
  
• Defining, planning, tracking and managing the project, identifying key resources and providing the direction they require in order to meet project objectives
  
• Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting and estimate to actual variance
  
• Determine what constitutes successful closure for all parties. Gain acceptance and sign-off by all parties when the closure is attained. Manage project stakeholder satisfaction to position and secure customer reference and success story
  
• Scope and estimate the engagement, determine the required resources for the project
  
• Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to reassess and amend the scope of work requirements, budget and timeline
  
• Position project management reviews with customers and effectively manages their Taxera platform deployment and onboarding
  

YOUR PROFILE

• 10 years + in a Project Management role implementing enterprise-scale IT/SAP Finance solutions, including experience handling external client projects
  
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology OR equivalent experience in a related field
  
• Ability to balance the business and technical requirements to produce a project plan and collaborate to acquire the information, such as estimates, as input to the project plan
  
• Demonstrated project management skills, with direct responsibility for running project teams, up to 10+ people, budget and schedule
  
• Excellent understanding of SAP solutions and of the consulting business processes and functions
  
• Excellent English with international projects implementations experience
  
• PMP, Prince2, SAP Activate certification and/or other project management certifications are additional benefits
  
• Strategic direction and management of SAP Finance & Tax Localization programs globally for multinationals
  
• Ability to oversee major SAP Finance/Tax transformational initiatives
  
• Work on deployment of Taxeras end-to-end Indirect Tax consolidation and reporting platform
  
• Lead Tax and Statutory reporting transformation projects across multiple countries
  
• Work on digital government program to ensure full compliance with changing reporting requirements by governments globally
